Thirteen years ago a group of carp anglers set-up a small fishing match in the loving memory of Keith Sykes’ faithful Carp dog Lucy.
This has grown each year, always raising money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The success of the Bowl continues to grow each year through your support. In 2022 – 2023, we raised in excess of £50,000. This brings our total to over thirty puppies.

You have changed our lives, and particularly mine, you see giving me this wonderful gift, Lucy has meant that I can now live a life that I only dreamed of, and never expected to enjoy. For the first time in eight years, I can take the girls to school, meet friends for coffee and even go to the gym, before this I always needed someone to take me there.”
Over £35,000 raised at Lucy’s Bowl 2024
Lucy’s Bowl 2024 was once again extremely successful and we couldn’t thank you all enough for your support and generosity. So far this year we have raised over £35,000 for Guide Dogs, and that total is set to rise over the next few months.
A big thank you to everyone that has taken part in this years event, donated prizes, bought raffle tickets and given their time to make it a success. A special thank you to Guide Dog Puppy Ben and his Puppy Raisers Sheldon and Theresa who were able to attend this years event , showing you just where all your money goes.
Lucy’s Bowl 2024 Is Here!
The 2024 Lucy’s Bowl event has begun on RK Leisures Wraysbury Lakes.
We can’t wait to see what fish are caught, enjoy the fantastic raffle and BBQ and most importantly find out how much money we have raised!
A new Lucy & Ben start their journey
We are very pleased to receive the news that a new Lucy and Ben have started their Guide Dog training journey.
Both puppys have settled in well with their Puppy Raiser and we will have a pupdate soon to find out how they have been getting on.
We don’t know what the future holds for these amazing puppies quite yet, but without your fantastic support none of this would be possible.
